Whether it's to meet new friends, boyfriends, couples or to network, this is a great chance to try a new place in Brooklyn and new people at the same time. Hello! This group is for LGBT parents of Brooklyn! We want our children to be able to play with other children that have the same family dynamics as we do, without feeling "different", and sometimes we as parents need to unwind with others that "understand". So lets get together, when we can and have family fun!.

We enourage lgbt to remember they are special by enjoying gospel music in a safe space with thier community members. Our Pride Celebration theme is "God Still Loves Me"- Love, Peace, Joy and Hope. Join us, celebrate pride, sing along, praise, play your tambourine. Everyone is welcome! People with no faith too.

Seems like there's a ton of cool young LGBT folks in Park Slope, but we always have to commute to the city or Williamsburg to meet each other. But central brooklyn - Park Slope, Boerum Hill, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights, Flatbush - has its own vibe, and some really great places to hang out, and Park Slope is the center of it all. This is a meetup group for Gay and Lesbian Russian-Speaking immigrants from Former Soviet Union in New York area and beyond.   Meet with other Russian people who identify with the LGBT community. Bring along your family, friends and significant others. Let's get together, hang out, share our stories,  have fun and create a Russian LGBT community along the way.  

I'm not religious, but I grew up religious and my spirituality is strongly grounded in prayer. I have seen the power of prayer and I know that there is no greater force than people coming together in prayer and testimony. I'd like to share that with others. So I am hosting a prayer group in Brooklyn, indiscriminate of religion or denomination, but believing in God/Allah/Jehovah/Creator/Universe. After prayer just friendly socializing/sharing, light refreshments, good times and good love.
